Facelift Surgery in India

facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that improves visible signs of aging in the face and neck, such as:

  • Sagging in the middle of your face
  • Deep creases below the lower eyelids
  • Deep creases along the nose extending to the corner of the mouth
  • Fat that has fallen or has disappeared
  • Loss of skin tone in the lower face that creates jowls
  • Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw can give even a person of normal weight the appearance of a double chin

The loss of youthful contours in the face can be due to a variety of factors, including heredity, gravity, environmental conditions, and stress.
Rejuvenation procedures typically performed in conjunction with a facelift are brow lift, to correct a sagging or deeply furrowed brow, and eyelid surgery to rejuvenate aging eyes. More procedures can also be done along with face lift surgery to get the maximum benefit. Procedures like Liposuction, removal of the buccal (cheek), neck lift, brow lift, autologous fat injection, Blepharoplasty, fat pad, forehead lift, laser or chemical peel, chin implants and malar (cheek).

Procedure of Facelift

Depending on the degree of change you’d like to see, your facelift choices include a traditional facelift, limited incision facelift or a neck lift.
A traditional facelift incision often begins in the hairline at the temples, continues around the ear and ends in the lower scalp. Fat may be sculpted or redistributed from the face, jowls and neck, and underlying tissue is repositioned, commonly the deeper layers of the face and the muscles are also lifted. Skin is redraped over the uplifted contours and excess skin is trimmed away.
A second incision under the chin may be necessary to further improve an aging neck. Sutures or skin adhesives close the incisions.
An alternative to a traditional facelift uses shorter incisions at the temples, continuing around the ear and possibly within the lower eyelids or under the upper lip.
Sagging jowls, loose neck skin and fat accumulation under the chin may be corrected with a neck lift. The neck lift incision often begins in front of the ear lobe and wraps around behind the ear ending in the lower scalp. Once healed, the incision lines from a facelift are well concealed within the hairline and in the natural contours of the face and ear.
Different incision options are –

  • S lift face lift- Stich lift
  • Soft tissue augmentation
  • Neck lift
  • Liposuction with face lift
  • Traditional face lift
  • SMAS face lift
  • Liposuction Mini face lift
  • Lipoinjection and face lift

Benefits of Facelift

Your skin will be firmer, tighter and fresher looking. You will have a younger looking appearance which will improve your confidence and self-esteem.
You will notice that any wrinkles and the effects of exposure to the sun and wind have disappeared

Non Surgical Face Lift

Non-Surgical Face Lift is a system that uses Radiofrequency waves that is gently applied through specially designed facial probes.

When the Non-Surgical Face Lift probes are applied to the face, they gently stimulate collagen production. The finer lines on the face will start to diminish and the skin will feel firmer and taut. The finer pores will reduce in size and the facial contour is restored to its youthful state.
When the probes of the Non-Surgical Face Lift are applied to the skin, they gently and gradually heat the dermis ( deeper skin) without damaging the epidermis ( superficial skin). The patient will instantly experience tightening of the skin which fades away within 7 days. The heat causes new collagen production which is visible after 3 months. There is additional fat dissolving and muscle relaxing effect.

Thread Face Lift

It is a less invasive form of face lift and is suitable for rejuvenating and refreshing the face to turn back the signs of ageing. The thread facelift is ideal for people with a general saggy appearance of the skin which includes wrinkles, lines and loose skin. The results are very natural and the procedure will not reduce your facial expressions.

Facelift recovery

During your facelift recovery, a bandage might be placed around your face to minimize swelling and bruising once your procedure is completed.
Thin tubes may be present to drain any excess blood or fluid that may collect under the skin.
You will be given specific instructions that may include how to care for the surgical site and drains, medications to apply or take orally to aid healing and reduce the potential for infection, specific concerns to look for at the surgical site or in your general health, and when to follow up with your plastic surgeon.

Time and Cost of Face Lift Surgery

The patient is required to stay in the hospital for 1-2 days after the procedure. The sutures will be taken out after the surgery. In total the face lift surgery takes 8 to 10 days. The cost of face lift surgery in India is very competitve and offers best medical facilities along with the latest technologies
